My Favorite Games
I've been playing video games my entire life, so naturally I wanted to mention my favorite games. These are in no particular order.
The Sims 3 and 4
I spent hours of my childhood playing The Sims 3, mostly in CAS (create a sim) making as many different sims as I could. I'm a big fan of customizing characters in any video game, so an entire game where the point is to make loads of different characters and control their lives was really appealing to me.
Then The Sims 4 came out, but I didn't really get to play until it became free to play, and even then I didn't start seriously playing until I was in my 20's. But once I did, I started really getting into the process of building houses. I often spend 4-12 hours on a single house, and I often come up with a story for whoever will live in the house before I even make the sims that will live in it. Needless to say, I have spent many many hours of my life in this game.
Just Dance 2
I had this on the wii when I was a kid and spent hours in my room playing it. My favorite songs to dance to were Rasputin, Livin' La Vida Loca, Walk Like an Egyptian, When I Grow Up, and Tik Tok.
Pokemon
Instead of making a section for every Pokemon game I have played, I'm just going to make a mega-section.
Pokemon Black 2 was my very first Pokemon game, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I spent hours just exploring all of the different cities and areas, and I made tons of movies in the movie studio. Tepig may not be my absolute favorite starter anymore, but he will always be in my top 10 favorite pokemon.
I didn't get to return to the Pokemon series until Gen 8, so my next game was Pokemon Sword, and while it may not be anywhere near the best game in the series, it made me fall in love with Pokemon again, so I can never hate it. Sobble was the starter I chose the first time I played, and I absolutely love the little guy.
I've recently gotten Legends Arceus because it was on sale, and I really like it so far. I will update this page once I finish, but so far it's becoming a favorite, so I wanted to mention it here.
I am mentioning Pokemon Scarlet not because it's my favorite game or anything, but because Sprigatito is my absolute favorite starter, so I felt it was important to put here.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
I played so much ACNH during the pandemic, I played every single day for 2-3 years straight. I don't play as much anymore, but I revisit the game in bursts every few months. Once the new update comes out, that will probably change.
Home Safety Hotline
One of my favorite indie horror games, I would pay a million dollars to be able to play it blind again. Play the game yourself, it's a relatively short game and has some absolutely awesome scares!
Five Nights at Freddy's Series
This series needs no introduction, it's what got me into horror! I'm a FNAF boomer and prefer the click team games, however I can appreciate that as the horror landscape changes, the games need to change too. Pizzaria Simulator is my favorite game, and The Puppet is my favorite animatronic.
